JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY:

The Accounting Manager is a part of the Finance Department within the Operations Zone. Primary responsibilities include preparing monthly financial statements in accordance with GAAP for nonprofit organizations, managing the daily accounting functions of the church and supervising the Accounting Assistant. Additionally, the Accounting Manager will work closely with the Director of Operations in processing payroll and sharing human resources (HR) tasks. This position will also help improve and implement systems, policies and procedures related to accounting, payroll and HR. This position reports to the Director of Operations and is a full-time, salaried (exempt), support-level position with benefits.
