Internship
Fellowship Denver Church offers year-long internships to invest in and train individuals who are
preparing for vocational ministry or contemplating their next career steps. Our paid internship
provides experiential ministry development through a clear training track, personal supervision,
discipleship, mentoring, real-time church work hours, and leadership opportunities. We are
seeking applicants who have a personal relationship with God, a love for local church ministry,
and a desire to gain practical vocational experience. More information and how to apply can be

There are available positions for up to 8 program participants in the following ministry areas:
● Children and Family Ministry
● Communications
● Community and Mission (Small Groups)
● Operations and Church Administration
● Pastoral Ministry
● Production (AV)
● Student Ministry (Middle and High School)
● Worship & Arts
LOCATION:
Fellowship Denver has two congregations in the following locations. Intern role locations vary;
most interns work at and attend the South Broadway congregation.

ABOUT THE MINISTRY:
Fellowship Denver is a healthy, growing non-denominational church with two congregations,
one in south central Denver and the other in Arvada. As “one church with two congregations,”
we share a name, beliefs, mission, and collaborative leadership while expressing our life in two
parts of the Denver Metro area. Each congregation is served by a dedicated pastoral team andhas a growing network of Fellowship Groups. The whole church works together to serve our city,
send people on mission, and equip the next generation of disciples of Jesus in Denver.
HOURS AND PAY:
The 12-month Internship Program begins in August 2025 and concludes in July 2026.
20 hours per week
$1300 monthly stipend, tuition benefit through Ministry Residency program
REPORTS TO:
Intern Program Director & Ministry Supervisor
POSITION SUMMARY:
Roles vary by ministry area. Profiles for each role can be found here.
QUALIFICATIONS:
● Fulfill the requirements for a Deacon listed in I Timothy 3:8-13
● Commitment to personal spiritual growth
● Participate in a small group at Fellowship Denver Church
● High value of vocational local church ministry
● Minimum of a high school diploma or GED
● Ethusiastic about FDC’s vision and approach to ministry
● Proficient with current technology and able to keep up with technological changes
● Sense of humor and enjoy working with others in a ministry setting
● Enjoy serious reading and research
● Emotionally mature, eager to learn, team player, humble, flexible, willing to take responsibility
RESPONSIBILITIES:
● Attend weekly staff meetings (Tuesdays 9-10 am)
● Attend required weekly Ministry Foundations classes (Wednesdays 8:30-10 am)
● Meet weekly with Ministry Supervisor
● Maintain scheduled weekly in-office hours● Fully participate in the Internship Program at Fellowship Denver Church
● Assist with other ministry events and church-wide special services and events such as
Advent, Holy Week, et al.
● Fulfill other responsibilities assigned by the Ministry Supervisor or Intern Program Director.
