The Living Stone Church is a growing community centered on Jesus, rooted in Scripture, and committed to seeing lives transformed by the gospel. We believe kids matter deeply to God—and to us. In fact, we believe that kids aren’t just the future of the church, they are the church. As our church continues to grow and prepares to step into a new building, we are prayerfully seeking a Kids Minister who feels called to help lead our Kids Ministry into its next season.

This role is ideal for someone who loves Jesus, loves kids, and is excited to build—both people and spaces—with intentionality and heart.

The Heart of the Role

The Kids Minister at The Living Stone Church will help create environments where children feel safe, known, and excited to learn about God. This leader will partner with parents, invest in volunteers, and help shape a Kids Ministry that reflects our church’s vision and values as we grow.

As we prepare to break ground on a new church building later this year, this role will also play a meaningful part in helping design and dream up our Kids Ministry spaces—creating rooms that are welcoming, functional, and spiritually formative for kids and families.

What You’ll Be Doing

+ Lead and oversee Kids Ministry environments (birth through elementary)

+ Plan and lead engaging, gospel-centered Sunday experiences

+ Recruit, train, and care for Kids Ministry volunteers

+ Help develop systems that prioritize safety, excellence, and hospitality

+ Partner with parents in the spiritual formation of their children

+ Collaborate with church leadership to shape the future of Kids Ministry

+ Contribute to the design and vision of Kids Ministry spaces in our new building

+ Help grow Kids Ministry in both depth and reach as the church grows

Who We’re Praying For

+ A committed follower of Jesus with a pastoral heart for children and families

+ Someone who sees Kids Ministry as discipleship, not childcare

+ A relational leader who can build teams and inspire volunteers

+ Comfortable working in a growing church with evolving systems

+ Experience in kids ministry, teaching, or child development (paid or volunteer)

+ Alignment with the mission, vision and theology of The Living Stone Church

Position Details

• Part-time position
• Weekend availability required
• Compensation commensurate with experience
