Church Profile:
Grace Community Church is located at 1218 State Route 225, Herndon, PA 17830: 40 miles north of Harrisburg.
The church was established in 1952 and is currently non-denominational. From
humble beginnings, through people who were faithful to God’s Word and by His power, Grace
Community has grown both spiritually and numerically in the last 73 years. The church is governed
by a board of Elders and Deacons who are Godly men of spiritual maturity and character. These
individuals seek to lead in unity and by example as they guide the church according to God’s will
and purpose. The Elder board is charged with the spiritual welfare and ministries of the church,
while the Deacon board cares for financial and practical needs.
Sunday morning attendance is currently around 160. We have two AM Sunday services, along with
Sunday School for all ages, which meets in between services. Music style includes both traditional
hymns and contemporary music. We also offer additional ministries including Children’s Church,
nursery, AWANA, youth group, VBS, and church choir. Additionally, our church orchestrates
community outreaches such as Tractor Treat and Walk Through Bethlehem. We have an active
church congregation whose desire is to follow the Lord’s leading and serve the Kingdom. The
ministries of Grace Community Church are designed to meet the needs of the community, spread
the Gospel of Christ, and to disciple the saints.
