Office Manager
Reports to | Executive Pastor
Department | Operations
Purpose | The Office Manager is responsible for organizing and coordinating office operations and procedures in order to ensure organizational effectiveness and efficiency throughout the individual departments, ministries, groups, membership, and leadership of the church.
Hours & Schedule
- Part-time
- Monday – Thursday: 9:00a – 3:00p
- Friday: 9:00a – 12:00p
- Occasional hours on evenings and weekends for ministry events

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
- Strong organizational/planning skills and detail-oriented
- Good communication skills
- Strong people skills with ability to resolve issues
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace
- Able to adapt to various software, including Planning Center
- Basic knowledge of office equipment
- Lift packages up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities
- Oversight of all administrative tasks and recordkeeping (weekly attendance, giving, baptism records, etc.)
- Oversee facility and vehicle reservation requests (internal and external)
- Maintain master calendar for all events in the facility and offsite
- Accounting support (monthly expense reports, process reimbursements/payments, pay bills, etc.)
- Record and send out staff meeting notes for weekly meetings
- Elders support (prep packets for monthly meetings, communication, etc.)
- Member support (phone calls, visitors, emails, giving statements, etc.)
- Background check submission and tracking
- Support administrative needs of each ministry department
- Supervise/maintain office workroom (field deliveries, answer phones, etc.)
- Help with assimilation process (track communication, membership status, new attendee follow up, etc.)
- Human Resources support (reporting payroll, tracking PTO, maintaining employee files, administering Health Reimbursement Account for eligible employees, etc.)
- Oversee vendors & ordering supplies for office, café, and other ministries
- Help onboard new employees with appropriate paperwork
- Maintain digital files
- Other duties as assigned
