Job Summary: Lead Pastor – North Mountain Church (Phoenix, AZ)

North Mountain Church, a Conservative Baptistic congregation in north Phoenix, is seeking a Lead Pastor to guide the church into its next season following the retirement of their current pastor.

About the Church:

• 80+ years of Christ-centered ministry
• Multigenerational and ethnically diverse congregation
• Strong ministries in worship, discipleship and outreach
• Active community engagement, including food outreach and school supply drives

Ideal Candidate:

• Biblically grounded and aligned with Conservative Baptist beliefs
• Passionate expository preacher with sound theology
• Relational, approachable, and community-minded
• Skilled in leadership development and equipping others
• Experience in pastoral ministry and a clear call to shepherd

Qualifications:

• Testimony of faith in Jesus Christ
• Proven pastoral and leadership experience
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Willingness to relocate to or near north Phoenix
