The High Season 2026 Fellow will perform general support of retreat center operations at Thomas the Apostle Center (TAC) in northwest Wyoming from mid May to mid October. Tasks will have the ability to learn all facets of retreat ministry. This includes programming support, hospitality, outreach, theological dialoguing, sacred ground/garden development, national park/Yellowstone region recreation connector. There is also the opportunity to support numerous churches in the local community.

Specific Responsibilities:

Guest Support:

• Assisting with furniture moving or setup when needed
• Ensuring the retreat center is presentable for guests

Volunteer Support:

• Receiving support from volunteers for property maintenance tasks
• Orienting volunteers to the site when needed

Physical ability:

• Comfortable with outdoor work and lifting heavy objects. Requires frequent standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, lifting, moving, carrying, pushing & pulling of over 50lbs.
• Attention to detail: Work spaces are kept neat and organized.

Problem-solving skills:

• Ability to identify and resolve maintenance issues efficiently
• Customer service skills: Positive attitude and willingness to interact with directors, volunteers and guests in a helpful manner

Schedule:

● This position is seasonal, from approximately mid May – mid October 2026.

● Approximately 30 hours/week.

Housing:

● Apartment within the main lodge. Will consist of private bedroom, private shower/bathroom, and access to a shared kitchen.
