Ministry Program Director is positioned to support the ministry of South Ridge, with specifically in this season inspiring students to follow Jesus, partnering with parents, and multiplying leaders. For more detailed information, please review the Hiring Packet.

Duties & Commitments:
Administration:
• Attend SRC directional leadership meetings upon request
• Attend SRC regularly scheduled staff meetings
• Provide, manage, and work within a directional leadership approved budget
• Maintain policies for safety, facility use, and volunteer procedures

Leadership:
• Lead Summer at the Ridge (SATR) team huddles and parent meetings
• Direct all SATR planning, execution, and follow-up
• Lead all weekly middle and high school student environments (Transit & InsideOut)
• Partner with Waumba Land (preschool) and UpStreet (elementary) Coordinators to ensure a clear kids-to-student spiritual growth pipeline
• Recruit, train, and shepherd volunteer and small group leaders for Transit & InsideOut
• Hire, manage, and evaluate SATR seasonal support staff in collaboration with the Lead Pastor

Responsibilities:
• Evaluate that all curriculum for Transit, InsideOut, and SATR is aligned with our organization’s mission, vision, and values
• Ensure excellence in large-group teaching, small-group leader development, and creative programming for Transit, InsideOut, and SATR
• Responsible in maintaining Transit, InsideOut, and SATR health and educational records
• Responsible for Transit, InsideOut, and SATR event registrations, logistics, and parent communication

Qualifications:
• Theological education (Associate’s degree or higher) or equivalent training in ministry
•  Experience with church management systems and event registration software
•  Understanding of child and adolescent development
•  Optimistic, empathetic, and discerning in supporting parents and leading students
•  Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire volunteers and students

Compensation: 
• Starting salary range of $57,000 – $65,000 is based on our Salary Grading Scale. This amount may be adjusted based on the interview process and performance during the first year of employment.
• Full Health Care Package (Medical, Dental, Vision) with premiums fully covered by South Ridge. The cost varies depending on whether coverage is for just you, or for your spouse and/or children.
