About Redemption City Church

Redemption City Church (RCC) launched in 2018 as a church plant from Parkview Church in Palm Coast. Located in the fast-growing LPGA corridor of Daytona Beach, RCC began with just 60 core members and a vision to be a movement for all people to be rescued by Jesus and renewed in relationship with Him.

Since launching weekly services in September 2018 at Champion Elementary School, RCC has seen remarkable growth spiritually and numerically, doubling in size over the past 18 months. As of Easter 2024, the church began hosting three Sunday morning services to accommodate growth and is preparing to transition from a portable church into its first permanent facility in the coming months. RCC currently serves over 700+ in weekly attendance and is fully autonomous since August 2022.

The heart of Redemption City Church is to be “so about our city that we become a city known for redemption.”

The Role: Worship Pastor

The Worship Pastor will serve as the primary leader of musical worship and creative culture at Redemption City Church. This person will build and lead a vibrant, Christ-centered worship experience, oversee and develop worship and production teams, and shape the overall atmosphere of worship across all Sunday morning services and events.

This is a mission-critical, strategic role as RCC continues to grow and prepares to launch into its new facility.

Spiritual & Missional Characteristics

• A growing, vibrant relationship with Jesus Christ marked by humility, passion, and integrity.
• Believes fully in the mission of RCC to rescue and renew people in Jesus, embracing the church’s identity as a movement for all people.
• A heart for discipleship, shepherding, and spiritual formation through worship.
• Embraces the vision of Redemption City as a church for the city and passionately desires to reach the unchurched.

Ministry Experience & Leadership

• 3+ years of experience leading worship in a growing, modern church of 500+.
• Proven ability to build, lead, and develop worship teams (vocalists, musicians, and production).
• Comfortable planning and leading multi-service environments (RCC currently has 3).
• Experience with portable church environments is a plus; ability to help lead the transition into a permanent facility is essential.
• Demonstrated team builder and recruiter—someone who multiplies leaders and empowers volunteers.
• Understands the importance of collaboration with other ministries (Kids, Students, Teaching Team).

Musical & Creative Competencies

• Strong vocal and instrumental ability (guitar or keys preferred).
• Skilled in modern worship with an ability to blend authenticity and excellence.
• Competency in arranging, rehearsing, and producing worship sets that are spiritually impactful and culturally relevant.
• Familiar with Ableton Live, Planning Center, and worship technology (in-ear monitors, click tracks, multitracks, ProPresenter, etc.).
• An eye and heart for creative worship expressions that align with RCC’s DNA.

• Warm, engaging, and approachable—relates well with all ages and backgrounds.
• Eager to be part of a dynamic, fast-paced church environment.
• A humble servant-leader who values teamwork over spotlight.
• Emotionally intelligent, responsive to feedback, and mature in handling conflict or challenge.
• Desires to plant deep roots in the Daytona Beach community and contribute long-term to RCC’s mission.
