Description:
The Associate Pastor role at Crossroads Community Church is a new position purposed for advancing the mission of the church by providing leadership and teaching to the congregation as he assists the Lead Pastor in ministry.
- Responsibilities include the following: Regular preaching on Sunday mornings, overseeing and leading the youth group ministry, serving in new ministry opportunities according to his giftedness, and assisting the Lead Pastor in other ministries, as needed.
- Seeking an individual who demonstrates personal growth in his faith, effective leadership, and a passion for teaching/preaching God’s word.
- Minimum education of a 4-year degree from a Bible School or Christian College.
- Salary commensurate with education and experience.
- This position is open to bi-vocational opportunities as well.
Crossroads Community Church of Burlington, Iowa is a nondenominational, bible-believing church committed to the mission of reaching our community for the gospel of Jesus Christ. Our Lead Pastor is a DenSem grad.
