Tuesday Night Liturgy (TNL) is a church whose primary worship gathering is on Tuesday nights. Since our beginnings in 1993, our primary gathering is in the middle of our week, our faith intersecting with our everyday life. TNL exists to respond to God’s grace and together reorder our hearts and lives around following Jesus. TNL meets on Tuesdays at 6:30 PM at 7399 S. Tucson Way, Centennial, CO 80112. Overview & Responsibilities
The Primary Teacher is responsible to provide care and spiritual development for approximately 6-8 kids a week, ages ranging from 4-7 years old. At the primary level, we are helping parents communicate the first understandings of God’s love to their kids, which will shape them for a lifetime. We want these children to experience church as a place of love, care, and relationships while learning three foundational truths: God made them, God loves them, and Jesus wants to be their friend forever.
The Primary Teacher will have a weekly volunteer from the TNL community. There is teaching, worship, play & crafts each week in the Primary classroom. All supplies and curriculum are provided by TNL.
Care of Children
Oversight of all aspects regarding care of children during the Worship Gathering. Ensure that the classroom is a warm and welcoming place, conducive to providing the children present a safe, positive and encouraging experience.
Classroom Administration & Curriculum
Prepare and teach a lesson plan based on the curriculum provided. Ensure all supplies for the classroom are purchased and present. Communication with volunteers regarding classroom activities and curriculum content. Contribute to the TNL Kids monthly newsletter to inform parents what the children are learning that month in the classroom.
Volunteer Communication
Ability to communicate kindly and clearly with volunteers on expectations and care of children and families. We have amazing volunteers in our community and many need direction on what is expected of them each week and in each area of the night (during lesson time, prayer etc).
Parent & Family Support
Be present at sign in/sign out to be able to connect with children, families and volunteers.
Schedule
- TNL Service (Tuesday 6:00-8:00PM )
- Management & Content Creation (1-3 hours/week)
(Preparation, planning, communication with families.)
$500.00/month, 3 hrs per week.
