PreK Co-Teacher – Treasureland Preschool

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–2:00 PM
Start Date: August 2025

Treasureland Preschool is a relationship-based early learning community that recognizes the power of connection and play in young children’s growth. We believe curiosity, discovery, and trust are at the heart of meaningful early education—and we’re looking for educators who share that belief.

We’re currently seeking an experienced PreK Co-Teacher to join our team. This is a collaborative teaching role where you’ll work closely with a partner teacher to plan, guide, and reflect on classroom experiences. Ideal candidates are both team-oriented and self-driven—eager to contribute ideas, engage in open dialogue, and take initiative in creating a nurturing, dynamic learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Co-plan and implement developmentally appropriate, inquiry-rich learning experiences.
• Support social-emotional growth using positive guidance strategies.
• Observe children thoughtfully and adjust teaching based on their interests and needs.
• Communicate effectively with families and colleagues.
• Engage in ongoing professional learning and reflective practice.

What We’re Looking For:

• Preferred: Associate’s degree (or higher) in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred, OR Colorado Early Childhood Teacher credential (Level 2 or higher)
• Lead teaching experience in an early childhood setting
• Confidence in curriculum planning and flexible, responsive instruction
• Collaborative spirit with strong initiative and a willingness to learn
• Familiarity with Conscious Discipline and/or emergent/investigative curriculum (preferred)
