Description:
PURPOSE: To partner with our leaders to further the mission and vision of Restoration through creative and detailed administration, organization, and communication. We believe that faithful attention to details helps us truly care for our people and makes the mission and vision of Restoration possible. REQUIREMENTS:
- Heart, passion & calling for the local church, specifically Restoration. Become a member of Restoration Covenant Church.
- Experience in administration, organization, and communication.
- Be able to anticipate needs and details of diverse teams.
- Ability to train and care for volunteers.
- Familiarity with database functionality, Planning Center, Squarespace, Google Suite experience a plus.
- Ability to exercise autonomy and prioritize work in accordance with the mission and vision of Restoration Covenant Church.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Church Communications:
- Act as the first contact for RCC by fielding and coordinating internal and external church communications to appropriate people and teams in a timely manner.
- Anticipate, strategize, and manage communication through the church website, weekly newsletter, and social media.
- Coordinate and manage church calendar with Lead Pastor, Staff, and Leadership Team.
- Develop and maintain church communication procedures with all ministry team leaders, leadership team members, and staff.
Ministry Operations:
- Attend in-person every other week staff meetings (Arvada, CO.)
- Maintain and support all ministry areas in using Planning Center for church data repository and for the coordination of volunteers.
- Maintain and support good record keeping of events, communications, and other important information.
- Support various ongoing areas of ministry operations, for example:
- Organize purchase of regular and special event supplies like cleaning/building supplies, communion supplies, and Sunday donut orders.
- Support the Sunday Gathering Coordinators by communicating needed announcements.
- Monitor administration annual budget, assist in maintaining records for the treasurer and bookkeeper.
- Receive building use requests, distribute appropriate forms, and support event coordinators.
Hours: 10 hours a week ($20 per hour)
Days: Sunday Morning, (Flexible mid-week), Attendance at Bi-Weekly Staff Meetings.
