The First Baptist Church of Safford, Arizona, is seeking a man of God with a heart and vision for ministry in a rural location.  The person God provides us will come alongside me and serve with a view to eventually stepping up into senior leadership of the church.

Our values as a church include expository preaching of the Word of God, being a lighthouse in our own community and supporting missionaries at home and abroad.

We are in a position as a church to financially assist an associate pastor in completing his seminary training, if needed.

Safford is a thriving town in Eastern Arizona, with two copper mines and a college.  It is not a big city, there are approximately 20,000 people within 20 miles of our church.
