Job Board

The River Church in Denver is growing rapidly and is seeking the Lord in the provision of the next worship pastor for the church. We are looking for a worship pastor with a heart to be called a friend of God.

Position will include:

• Continuing the development of the worship team for the church
• Raising up young worship leaders to send them out with church plants
• Leading during the weekend services
• Leading for conferences
• Training and developing worship leaders for community groups
• Recording

We have an amazing music director that can help with administrative functions.

Playing an instrument is a plus, but is not a requirement.

Financially, we will make this work for the right person. Denver is fairly expensive and we understand this, salary will be commensurate with experience and cost of living in the Denver area. We do have some potential options for housing as well as part time positions for a spouse. More than anything, we want to find the person that God is calling to the River, the worship pastor that is going to change the world.

There are two measures of success at the River: Did the Holy Spirit lead and was Jesus put on display?

Two years ago we were a Vineyard Church that had seen very little in signs, wonders and miracles. God wouldn’t leave us in that place, He began to show us how to allow Him to lead His church. Since November 2022 we’ve seen over 1300 people come to faith, cancer fleeing, stroke sufferers getting out of bed, addiction run, deaf ears opened, blind eyes seeing and so much more.

God has given us an impossible mission, much bigger than us. We are as a church called to be a movement to:

• Model a different way of doing church
• Model and disciple people in John 15 abiding (worship in Spirit and truth)
• To see an outpouring of the Spirit that will take off around the world from Columbine High School (our local high school).

The church has grown by 150% percent in the last year, and we know we are just getting started.

We have a heavy emphasis on hands on discipleship. We don’t just teach, we show people how to abide and minister to others hands on as we live out life together.
