Hillcrest Bible Church in Oregon, WI is searching for a pastor in residence that will serve our adult population by joining the pastoral team in building a community who is experiencing the ultimate joy that comes from fellowship with God, with the church family, and with those who are yet to believe.

Responsibilities: Responsibilities of the Pastoral Resident include, but are not limited to:

• Preaching on occasion as part of our teaching team (estimated 1-3 times a year).
• Coordinating and working with Life Group Leaders and Coaches under direction of the Lead Pastor.
• Recruiting, onboarding, and building relationships with new potential life group participants and leaders.
• Developing and maintaining discipleship ministry systems that are founded on the intentional building of meaningful relationships that function interdependently.
• Leading and driving strategic initiatives with a team of adults in coordination with the Lead Pastor.
• Faithfully completing directed study materials and readings to continue to grow in leadership, theology, and philosophy of ministry.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Three or more years’ experience in church ministry.
• An Undergraduate degree in biblical studies or demonstration of equivalent achievement and discipline through life experience.
• Ministry-specific graduate degree is desired.
