The Church: Where we are.
Gilmanton Community Church is located in New Hampshire’s rural lakes region. This area is known for recreational activities such as hiking, skiing, fishing, and boating.
Our beautiful building is a historic landmark, listed in the National Register of Historic places. We are the unofficial center of the Town of Gilmanton. Built in 1826 the building is a classic example of a late Federal-period church.
The Church: Who we are.
We are a loving family of Christians in need of a Shepard to guide us and help us grow. Currently our average attendance is 25-30 people. We also have a healthy on-line presence.
We are affiliated with The American Baptist Church’s of VT. & NH as well as the National Association of Congregational Christian Churches. At Gilmanton Community Church, we are more than just a church. We are a family of believers who are passionate about serving our community in New Hampshire.
We are active in our community and our ministries include.
● The Dump Run Café (Seniors coming in for breakfast Wednesday mornings).
● Isaiah 61 preparing, serving and feeding the homeless in Laconia.
● Food for Thought a once-a-month outreach dinner with a Christian message.
● Sunday Morning Fellowship is a time for connecting with each other after worship.
● Bible Study led by church members occurs every Tuesday morning.
● Thrift Shop, and Food Pantry serving our community
Together, we come before the Lord and each other with Christian love and fellowship. We share our burdens, pray, and strive to encourage and nurture each other’s faith in Jesus Christ as God’s son and our savior. Our commitment is to live out our faith through sincere words and actions, studying scripture as our final authority, providing for those in need, extending compassion to the hungry, poor, broken, and homeless, sharing the good news of salvation, and living in ways that honor and bring glory to our Lord and savior. Our doors are open to everyone, and we strive to create a welcoming and inclusive environment where all can experience the love of God
