Title of Position Live in Volunteer Staff (Female only)
Supervisor: TeVeo House Director
Hours: Day and Overnight Hours; occasional weekend duty and holiday duty
Salary: This is a volunteer position with housing provided. Private bedroom, shared bathroom &
shared dining/living room areas
Start Date: Immediate Opening
Required Meeting Attendance:
Weekly TeVeo house staff meeting and/or one on one resident briefings with house director
as well as attend PMT once a month.
Job Purpose
TeVeo House is a short-term transitional house for women seeking assistance in leaving
homelessness who are experiencing issues such as past trauma, mental health problems, and/or
addictions. To provide day and overnight ‘On Call” coverage of TeVeo House typically Monday
through Thursdays. Provide limited day support by facilitating in house groups as scheduled and
as needed. Providing general emergency support for (up to) 10 women during the night shift. To
be a servant leader in the house showing a presence in the home.
Duties and Responsibilities
● Assist and/or lead a day program by facilitating groups/activities with residents 3 to 5
days per week.
● Provide overnight “On Call” coverage for residents of TeVeo House. The person in this
position is encouraged to sleep during the night but must be available to residents in case
of an emergency in the evening and overnight.
● Attend program night dinner with residents up to two (2) evenings per week, this will
include at times overseeing and coordinating other volunteers.
● Complete related paperwork such as incident, group progress reports etc.
● 9 pm House Security Check (Checking doors and verifying all residents are accounted for)
● Model responsible and ethical dating, relationships, and personal conduct in general.
● Manage and facilitate crisis intervention and conflict resolution.
● Attend/participate in weekly TeVeo house meetings to offer feedback concerning
residents.
● Interpersonal problems should be handled according to Matthew 18.
● The person filling this position will be expected to serve on weekends and holidays
covering all or any Still Waters Homes on a rotation basis, typically every 7 to 10 weeks.
● Perform UA and BA tests and record findings in the One Step app.
● Report directly to house director.
Qualifications
● Familiar with Microsoft Office 365
● Previous residential experience a plus
● Training in trauma, addiction and/or mental health issues helpful.

Work Environment and Physical Demands
● Work environment is indoors with some outside activity
● This job involves sitting, standing, walking, and climbing stairs
● This job involves moving up to 25 pounds (or more with assistance)
