Impact the lives of children without hope in rural Uganda from your home office. Hines Ugandan Ministries is seeking a Denver-metro based, part-time (approx. 20hrs/week) U.S. Child Sponsorship Coordinator to work remotely with a team of Ugandan sponsorship staff as well as U.S. staff. This position will primarily work from home with reasonably flexible, year-round hours and some teamwork, project-oriented, fundraising, light travel and seasonal variations. Be a part of growing and developing further processes for this position. Potential to grow into full-time position as ministry needs increase and candidate’s abilities and availability correspond with the duties.

 

Qualifications include:

-Demonstrated mature personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

-Excellent interpersonal, verbal and writing (email, letters & story telling) skills.

-Strong organizational skills, ability to work independently and to be a part of refining and

developing this important role.

-Demonstrated basic computer proficiency and digital literacy, including MS Office, particularly

Excel, and willingness/ability to learn new software.

 

Primary responsibilities include:

-Create meaningful children’s profiles that will attract new child sponsors to be a part of changing the life of a child in this world and for eternity.

-Work with Ugandan and local team members to maintain current sponsorship lists as a valuable

communication tool for all team members to effectively complete their work activities.

-Maintain strong relationships and quality communication with sponsors to offer them a

meaningful sponsorship experience.  Offer encouragement and connection as well as financial

update needs.

-Coordinate meaningful communication between sponsors and sponsored children.

-Be a part of the process of seeking and following up with new sponsors (fundraising).
