Description:

Safe Places for Women’s new emergency house in Denver, CO, provides faith-based residential care for women who have experienced trafficking or exploitation.

We are seeking candidates for the position of Program Director. Program Director oversees and directs staffing, administration, and execution of all aspects of the program and emergency house operations in accordance with the mission, values, and goals of Safe Places for Women. This individual supervises program staff and volunteers to help conduct and coordinate day-to-day program and emergency house activities with the clients.  Additionally, the Program Director performs clinical duties in intake, assessment, and delivery of individual and group counseling services.

The Program Director must possess a master’s degree in counseling, social work or related field and a minimum of two years of experience working with survivors of trauma; have a willingness to engage in ongoing training in trauma informed practices and mental health and recovery issues; possess a valid State driver’s license; and successfully complete a background check.  Supervisory experience is preferred.  This is a full-time role; work hours will typically be Monday through Friday with on-call responsibilities.
