Responsibilities:

• Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for our boys.
• Engage in age-appropriate activities and encourage their creativity and imagination.
• Foster their individual interests, supporting the older one’s love for tools and construction and the younger one’s enthusiasm for dogs.
• Provide loving guidance and discipline when necessary, utilizing a direct and clear approach.
• Prepare meals and snacks for the children, ensuring a balanced and healthy diet.
• Assist with bedtime routines and ensure they get a good night’s sleep.
• Accompany the children to various outings and activities, offering enriching experiences.
• Maintain open and regular communication with us regarding the children’s progress, needs, and any concerns.

Schedule and Flexibility:

• The regular schedule will include a consistent date night starting at 4:30 pm each week, providing an opportunity for the parents to have quality time together.
• Additionally, we require flexible weekend help, as some days may start as early as 7 am, while others may begin at 12 pm, depending on our event schedule.
• As our relationship builds and trust develops, we may request overnight care occasionally when we go out of town every few months.

Qualifications:

• Experience caring for and engaging with two toddlers is essential.
• A warm and nurturing personality with a genuine love for children.
• Strong communication skills, both with children and parents.
• Creativity and enthusiasm to plan and execute engaging activities.
• Directness and assertiveness when needed to maintain a structured environment.
• Preferred age range for the nanny is late 30s to 40s, bringing maturity and experience to the role.
• High energy levels and a willingness to actively participate in the children’s daily activities.
• Cultural sensitivity and openness to our spiritual beliefs as a Jewish family.
