We are a small, Veteran owned, family business. HWI Gear has delivered over 2 million pairs of gloves to the US military in the past 10 years and designed state of the art protective apparel for the law enforcement and military market for the past 40 years.

HWI Gear Inc., has an immediate opening for Customer Service Rep/Receptionist to join our team. We are seeking a hard-working, organized and responsible individual with exceptional attention to detail. Individual must be a dependable self-starter with the physical ability to lift 30 pounds. This job is an in-office position (no opportunity to work from home).

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Order entry and invoicing customers
  • Professionally and courteously answer phone calls and manage the door and deliveries
  • Friendly and professional contact with customers and vendors
  • Keep office and common areas clean and presentable
  • Answer customer service emails
  • Provide information to customers regarding our product, pricing, promotions and general inquiries
  • General office duties and errands

Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of office administration experience
  • Strong administrative and professional communication skills a must
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and meet deadlines
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Quickbooks experience knowledge preferred
  • Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills required
  • Self-motivated and proactive individual
  • Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening
  • Associates or Bachelor’s degree preferred
