Christian Medical & Dental Associations, the world’s largest faith-based organization of healthcare professionals, is seeking a full-time Associate Area Director in San Antonio, Texas. The successful candidate will work closely with the Area Director and primarily minister to local healthcare professionals, medical and dental students, and allied health professionals and programs with an emphasis on overseeing men’s ministries.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Collaborate with the San Antonio Area Director, San Antonio’s local CMDA council and the CMDA Southern Regional Director as you minister to the San Antonio community
• Minister to the spiritual, professional and personal needs of healthcare professionals and students
• Organize, attend, and participate in student ministries including activities on and off campuses
• Organize, attend, and participate in medical and dental missions requiring both domestic and international travel
• In coordination with the local council, develop support raising for personal support and expand financial giving for CMDA San Antonio ministries
• Develop and grow partnership opportunities with ministry leaders in San Antonio including church leaders and mission leaders
• Attend the national CMDA Staff Connections Conference annually

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
• Profession and testimony of Christian faith and exemplary Christian witness
• Character compatible with the purposes, practices and values of CMDA
• Proven ministry experience
• Exceptional people skills including strong oral and written communication skills
• Proven visionary leadership
• Strong organizational skills

DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE:
• Has earned or currently working towards a Master’s level or higher seminary degree
