We manage a 1,200 square foot Airbnb apartment featuring 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, and a kitchenette in the vibrant neighborhood of Virginia Village. Job Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and communicative cleaner to join our team. The primary responsibility of this position is to perform turnovers for our Airbnb apartment, which typically requires 4-6 cleanings per month. Cleanings will be scheduled between 10 AM and 3 PM and will vary based on guest check-in and check-out dates, encompassing both weekdays and weekends.

Key Responsibilities:

1. General Cleaning: Ensure the apartment is thoroughly cleaned, including vacuuming, mopping, cleaning the bathroom, wiping down countertops, etc.
2. Laundry: Wash, dry, and fold linens for the two beds as well as towels.
3. Bed Making: Make the two beds to a high standard of presentation.
4. Guest Welcome: Prepare and set out a welcome gift for our arriving guests.
5. Reporting of Low Inventory: Let us know when supplies such as toiletries are running low and maintain storage of supplies in storage closet

Qualifications:

• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.

• A dedicated work ethic, with the ability to complete tasks efficiently and effectively.
• Reliability and punctuality, as cleaning appointments are time-sensitive.

Training and Support:

Although we aim to develop a trusting relationship with our cleaning team that eliminates the need for after-cleaning walkthroughs, we provide coaching and training to ensure that our expectations are clearly communicated. We value open communication to maintain our high standard of cleanliness.

Working Conditions:

• Contract position
• Cleaning shifts typically take around 3 hours with opportunities for occasional deeper cleaning for higher compensation.
• Weekend work will be required periodically.
• The apartment owners reside above the apartment and are available for support and questions as needed.
